Just getting back to this image since day one still got a little bit of pushing and pulling to do.

Kungfu Grizzly

Started a drawing for a friend and his wife. An illustration based on the farmer and his wife. His wife is a crane stylist and he is a Bear stylist. This should be fun. I haven't drawn anything in a while so this is a way to get back into illustration. Okay time to throw some color on it.

Guru Freelancer sucks!

I'm finding Guru to be a very inefficient website. It is so close to being a good thing but not enough time is being put into screening vendors and protecting artist. It seems mostly everyone is trying to get free ideas or get artwork for free. Without proper standards in place it is killing the business of art. The good thing it tries to do however is builds a fail safe system so that artists get paid once work has begun but it still falls short. The problem probably rests on both sides too many posers taking advantage of the system both freelancers and clients

Return to focus

Feeling some deterioration of ability I want to begin putting some artistic tools I've been research to use as well as just get back into practicing to express color and line. This was a quick digital painting I did this morning. It is off a Goldfrap cd.
